Crash

A poem that comes from my victory with my latest bout of writer's block.

Hardship is a necessity 
for growth and change
into a unfurling future. 
Denial is a rejection
of this inevitability
that breeds stagnation 
like the damp and dark 
breeds mold and wood rot. 
Life contains suffering 
but that doesn't mean 
that's all your life has to be,
no more than a happiness
