With the luxurious texture
of silk bed sheets, fresh
from mechanical waters,
bleach beaten and nestling
in spring-tide winds, bewitched
by the star that lacerates the nexus
where the sky and planet coalesce,
the honey melds itself to the nerves
of the tongue that has less grace and
