We have the universe.
For every opportunity there 
is a platinum gas point
winking back at Webb,
an undiscovered abyssal ocean
monster living without us,
an unvarnished pure glass grain
in solitude, sheltered and satisfied,
a bookshelf in some hole-in-the-wall
delegating billions of dust mites,
an unpublished manusc…
