In trying times I cling to the shadow of a silver-lining. If it's too dark to find I use the light from fading embers within myself for guidance and pray I'm fast enough to catch a glint before a bolt of cold happenstance steals away the last crumb of warmth. I'll spin tools of faith from my silver-lining— a sword that fits perfectly into the neck of disquiet— and share them with anyone without the means to thread their own needle. In exchange I only ask for solidarity worth more in weight than a dragon that exhales fire and pandemonium from its nostrils.

There silver lining is there if we look close enough. This is a great reminder written eloquently.
This is lovely. The shorter lines do something really cool to the poem. Maybe because when I read it out loud, it made me read more slowly and take in each word? I don't know, but I like it.
